Families utilizing HOAA services are invited to our monthly virtual W.A.I.T. (Waiting Adoptive Parents Information & Training) support group. W.A.I.T. provides ongoing training, expert guidance, and a supportive community to help families navigate the adoption process. Each session covers topics such as child matching, preparing for placement, understanding trauma, navigating the emotional aspects of waiting, and connecting with other prospective adoptive parents. Our goal is to ensure families feel informed and supported while on their adoption journey.
