Haven Kid’s Retreats are offered once a year, during the summer holidays, and are open to biological children of foster and adoptive families. This weekend exists as a safe place for children to work through the complex feelings that come as a sibling to children from hard places.
This retreat is held at a local youth camp that offers fun-filled activities like a Zip Line, Giant Swing, a Giant Blob, tons of water activities and more! Our hope is to provide space for our kids to talk about how they both love and struggle in their role as a sibling to children with complex trauma, while simultaneously experiencing a fun-filled weekend designed just for them.
