Helping a Young Man Drive Toward Independence

When HOAA put out a call for assistance in locating a reliable vehicle for a young man who recently aged out of foster care, we hoped our community would help us find a way to make it happen. We never expected just how generously that call would be answered.

We are thrilled to share that Volkswagen of Wesley Chapel stepped forward to help. Not only did they offer their support toward the purchase of a reliable vehicle, but they increased the available funds by an additional $5,000!

This incredible generosity brings us significantly closer to helping this young man obtain dependable transportation—something that can make a tremendous difference as he works, builds independence, and navigates life after foster care.

At HOAA, we believe young people deserve more than a safe place to land. They deserve a community willing to stand beside them as they build their futures. This is a beautiful example of what can happen when a community comes together and says, “We can help.”

We are incredibly grateful to Scott Fink and Volkswagen of Wesley Chapel and everyone who continues to believe in and invest in young people transitioning from foster care.

Together, we are helping drive him toward independence and a brighter future.
