Our DCF state-approved Pre-Adoptive Training (Virtual) is designed to help prospective adoptive parents understand the unique needs and experiences of children who have spent time in foster care—and prepare for the realities and rewards of becoming an adoptive family. \nThis 7-week training program meets twice a week from 6:00–9:00 p.m.\, providing a comprehensive learning experience in a convenient evening format. \nThe training is more than a requirement—it is an opportunity to ask questions\, build confidence\, connect with other prospective adoptive parents\, and gain practical tools you can use when a child joins your family. \nEmail Amanda@adopthoaa.org to learn more or register for our upcoming classes. *Grants are available on a limited basis and require pre-authorization to register.
